Indonesia to disclose control links for shareholders with stakes above 1%

Indonesia’s stock exchange will disclose more shareholder information for listed companies, working with the country’s central securities depository.

The new details will show whether shareholders with stakes above 1% are controllers or linked to controllers.

Listed companies will provide the information through their monthly securities-registration reports, and the exchange will publish it on its website each month.

The rules have approval from Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority.

The first release will use shareholding data from 30 October 2026.

The added detail is intended to clarify ownership concentration and links, helping investors assess companies and supporting market oversight.
