McDonald’s brings Diet Coke back to Australian menus

McDonald’s brings Diet Coke back to Australian menus

McDonald’s is bringing Diet Coke back to restaurants across Australia after removing it from menus in January 2023.

The drink is now rolling out nationwide, with more restaurants expected to add it over the coming months.

The return follows years of customer requests for the sugar-free soft drink.

During its absence, Coke Zero was the main non-sugar cola option at McDonald’s.

Both drinks are sugar-free and calorie-free, but Diet Coke has a lighter taste, while Coke Zero tastes more like regular Coca-Cola.

Customers will have more drink choices, and Diet Coke is available with meal deals alongside other soft drinks.
