SADAFCO’s nine-month profit falls 44.7% to 236.9 million riyals
Saudi dairy and food company SADAFCO’s profit fell 44.7% in the first nine months of 2026, to 236.9 million riyals.
Revenue declined 6.6% to 2.17 billion riyals, while operating profit fell 44.2%.
The comparison was affected by a 107.4 million-riyal gain from a land sale that SADAFCO recorded in the same period last year.
Higher raw-material and shipping costs, regional surcharges and inflation also weighed on results.
Revenue excluding subsidiary Milkomma edged up 0.55%, supported by stronger sales volumes of core products, but Milkomma’s revenue fell as market prices and product mix changed.
In the third quarter, a move to a new planning system temporarily disrupted sales and supply operations in September, though the company said operations have now stabilised.
Third-quarter profit dropped 63.9% to 66.7 million riyals, and the company said the disruption did not reflect weaker underlying demand.
SADAFCO’s net profit fell 44.7% to 236.9 million riyals in the first nine months of 2026.
The company reported revenue of 2.17 billion riyals, down 6.6% from a year earlier.
The profit decline was mainly linked to the absence of a one-time gain from a land sale in 2025 and higher raw-material and shipping costs.
Third-quarter net profit fell 63.9% to 66.7 million riyals.
SADAFCO said September sales and supply-chain operations were temporarily affected by a move to a new enterprise resource planning system.
