Man shot in jaw in new Toulouse shooting
Two people riding an electric scooter opened fire in La Reynerie, a district of Toulouse, early on October 24.
They shot a man in his early 30s with an assault rifle, wounding him in the jaw.
His life is not in danger.
The shooting came two days after another attack in the district left four people injured, including a 17-year-old who was initially in critical condition and is now improving.
Investigators have linked earlier shootings to a dispute between groups in La Reynerie and neighbouring Bellefontaine, reportedly connected to drug trafficking.
Police have not established whether this latest shooting is connected to those rivalries.
An investigation is expected to determine what happened.
