Irkutsk woman fined 100,000 rubles for assaulting police officer
A court in Irkutsk fined a woman 100,000 rubles for using violence against a police officer.
The woman was 54 and involved in a criminal case that police were investigating.
In May 2025, officers came to her home to conduct a search.
She hit and bit an officer from the economic security and anti-corruption unit, then left the scene.
She denied involvement, but the court found her guilty after considering testimony, medical examinations and video recordings.
The verdict is not yet legally final, and no further steps are reported.
