Miami fitness influencer charged after Uber Eats driver is shot

Fitness influencer Khuslen Saruultuya was arrested in Miami after an Uber Eats driver was shot and injured.

Police say the 33-year-old, who uses the name Khuslen Khan online, believed the driver was trying to get his girlfriend’s phone number.

The driver had delivered food to the woman earlier, then returned about an hour later to try to see her.

Police allege Saruultuya ordered the driver to the ground, fired a shot that grazed him, and struck him on the head with a gun.

He faces attempted felony murder and other charges, including drug-related charges after police searched his apartment.

Saruultuya has pleaded not guilty, and told a judge that the substances found were his prescriptions.

The driver went to hospital for treatment, and the case is proceeding through the courts.
