AOC launches 16-inch OLED portable monitor in China
AOC has launched its 16T40D portable monitor in China at a price of 1,549 yuan, roughly $232.
The screen is a 16-inch OLED panel with 1920 x 1200 resolution, giving it a 16:10 shape with extra vertical space for documents and browsing.
OLED pixels can switch off to produce deep blacks, while the monitor also covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color range.
Its slim aluminium body weighs 510 grams and is 8mm thick, and a magnetic cover folds into a stand.
Two USB-C ports can carry power and video with one cable when connected to a compatible device; there is also a Micro HDMI port.
The screen runs at 60Hz, so it is better suited to work, video and casual gaming than competitive PC gaming.
