Messages show Vorcaro and contact comparing him with Jeffrey Epstein
Messages show banker Daniel Vorcaro and a contact comparing him with Jeffrey Epstein in a WhatsApp conversation in December 2023.
The exchange followed a social media post by investor Vladimir Timerman, who said he believed he had found a “Brazilian Jeffrey Epstein” but did not name anyone.
Vorcaro later realized the post referred to someone else, and his contact joked that Epstein was “too amateur” to resemble Vorcaro.
The messages do not establish a connection between Vorcaro and Epstein.
The comparison comes amid a Federal Police investigation into suspected sexual exploitation of women involving Vorcaro, who is also being held in a separate inquiry into alleged Banco Master fraud.
Vorcaro’s defense denies that he exploited or disrespected women, and he is not accused of Epstein’s crimes or of involvement with minors.
Epstein was convicted in the United States in 2008 of prostitution-related crimes, including one involving a minor, and died in prison in 2019 before trial on later sex-trafficking charges.
