Palmeiras prepares attacking lineup for Copa do Brasil tie with Vasco

Palmeiras is preparing to face Vasco in the Copa do Brasil, Brazil’s domestic knockout competition.

The team is aiming to build an advantage in the first leg and make the return match easier to manage.

Coach Abel Ferreira has used a similar approach in earlier rounds, with Palmeiras winning its home first legs against Jacuipense and Fortaleza by 3-0.

Palmeiras went on to beat Jacuipense 4-1 away and lost 3-2 to Fortaleza, results that still secured progress.

Vitor Roque has recovered from an ankle injury and returned as a substitute against Santos, playing 15 minutes.

He is included in the likely starting lineup, but the team has not been confirmed.

A strong first-leg result could put Palmeiras in control before the return match.
