West Ham beat nine-man Lincoln 6-0 in the Championship

West Ham beat Lincoln City 6-0 in a Championship match at Lincoln’s ProAmpac Stadium on Wednesday.

Lincoln defender Tom Hamer was sent off in the third minute, and Conor McGrandles was dismissed about 20 minutes later.

West Ham led 1-0 at half-time, after Konstantinos Mavropanos scored just before the break.

The visitors then scored five times in the second half, with Tomas Soucek netting twice.

Lincoln played most of the match with nine men, making it difficult to contain West Ham, though they created some chances before the second dismissal.

West Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo said his team improved by being more patient and clinical.

The win ended West Ham’s run without a victory and was their biggest away win in 103 years.
