Hope’s unbeaten 102 leads West Indies to T20I win over India

West Indies beat India by six wickets in the second T20I in Ranchi after chasing a target of 250 with nine balls to spare.

Captain Shai Hope led the chase, scoring an unbeaten 102 from 45 balls.

India had made 249 runs for five wickets, with Sanju Samson scoring 82.

West Indies lost three early wickets, but Hope and Sherfane Rutherford added 120 runs from 54 balls to turn the match around.

After the game, Hope posted “250?

Cool” on Instagram, echoing Shubman Gill’s “406?

Cool” post after India chased 406 in an earlier ODI on the tour.

The win levelled the five-match T20I series at 1-1 and ended India’s 10-match winning streak in the format.

The teams are set to meet in the third T20I in Indore on Sunday.
