Bournemouth beat Aston Villa 3-0 to reach Carabao Cup quarter-finals

Bournemouth beat Aston Villa 3-0 at home to reach the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

Amine Adli scored early, Lewis Cook added a second after a goalkeeper error, and Álvaro Rodríguez completed the win.

The result was Bournemouth’s fifth straight victory across all competitions under new manager Marco Rose.

Aston Villa made nine changes and lost for the first time in eight games.

Bournemouth reached the competition’s last eight for the first time since the 2018-19 season.

The win keeps Bournemouth’s cup run alive as the club seeks its first major trophy.

They will play Liverpool away in the quarter-final at Anfield in the week beginning December 14.
