Crystal Palace beat Fulham 1-0 to reach Carabao Cup quarter-finals

Crystal Palace beat Fulham 1-0 away in the Carabao Cup fourth round on October 28.

The London clubs were competing for a place in the quarter-finals of England’s League Cup.

Eddie Nketiah scored Palace’s only goal with a header in the 37th minute.

Palace held on despite Fulham having most of the ball and creating chances.

Japan midfielder Daichi Kamada came on in the second half and helped Palace see out the match.

He also set up a chance for Dwight McNeil and later tried a shot of his own.

Palace reached the last eight for a third straight season and will continue in the competition’s quarter-finals.
