Walmart launches $89-a-month Walmart+ membership in Mexico

Walmart has launched its Walmart+ membership in Mexico as it competes for online shoppers with Amazon and Mercado Libre.

The plan costs 89 pesos a month or 890 pesos a year.

Members get free delivery on eligible digital orders of 399 pesos or more, with no minimum purchase until November 30, 2026.

Other benefits include Universal+ Essential streaming, extra Bait mobile data, health services and pharmacy discounts.

Walmart says the membership is meant to encourage more frequent purchases and retain customers across its stores and digital channels.

The move follows growth in Walmart's digital business in Mexico: in the third quarter of 2026, net digital sales rose 15.8% year over year.
