Malaysian shoppers are turning to Chinese platform Pinduoduo
Malaysian shoppers are buying more through Chinese e-commerce platform Pinduoduo.
The platform launched in Malaysia more than six months before shopper Esha Yusof signed up in July.
Low prices and a wide product range have helped draw customers to the service.
Yusof, 32, says she spends about 500 ringgit (US$122) a month on goods including home decor, kitchen supplies, clothing and stationery.
Many products come directly from Chinese factories or warehouses, which Yusof says helps make them cheaper than similar goods in Malaysia.
