Ahn Bo-hyun and Lee Sung-min lead a Goryeo-era mission in new JTBC drama

JTBC’s new drama “God’s Bead” is set in Goryeo in 1258, during a long war with the Mongols.

The story follows a convoy sent to recover and protect the sacred Guanyin Bead, while a princess tries to save its members.

Ahn Bo-hyun plays Baek-gyeol, a young commander leading the convoy, and Lee Sung-min plays Choi-gu, a veteran officer of the military unit known as the Yabyeolcho.

The two men share the mission but have different experience and ways of leading, and they clash as they work together.

Their disagreements must give way to cooperation if they are to carry out the dangerous mission and protect the country’s sacred object.

The series is scheduled to premiere in December on JTBC, and is also set to be available worldwide through Prime Video.
