Tom Brady Ranks 49ers as NFL’s Team to Beat After Week 5

After five weeks of the 2026 NFL season, Tom Brady published his power rankings ahead of Week 6.

Brady ranked the San Francisco 49ers first after they beat the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5.

He called San Francisco the team to beat and said it was separating itself from the rest of the league.

The Seahawks, last season’s defending champions, lost 32-29 and turned the ball over four times.

Brady also said Seattle could get a boost from the return of running back Zach Charbonnet, with Jadarian Price expected back in a few weeks.

The rankings also discuss the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots and Detroit Lions, with Brady noting Denver’s offense needs to push the ball downfield and praising the Patriots’ recent response.

The rankings look ahead to Week 6, when Seattle is set to visit Denver on Thursday night.
