Adam Driver Says His Ben Solo Film Is Unlikely to Happen
Adam Driver says he believes his time in Star Wars is over, though he would return if his canceled film were revived.
The project, called The Hunt for Ben Solo, was planned as a sequel to The Rise of Skywalker, with Driver playing Ben Solo, also known as Kylo Ren.
Driver and director Steven Soderbergh worked on the film for two years, but Disney declined to move it forward, in part because Ben Solo had died in the previous film.
Driver said the response from fans, including billboards and planes flown over Disney, was incredible, but he thinks the chance to make the film has passed.
The project is not in active development, and Soderbergh has also expressed little interest in returning to it.
The next Star Wars film scheduled for theaters is Star Wars: Starfighter, due on May 28, 2027.

It’s over
No more ‘Star Wars.’ We tried.
The fans’ response to it, though, was pretty incredible. I didn’t expect that it was going to be billboards and people flying planes over Disney and things like that.
