Ânima reports 142.7% rise in third-quarter 2026 profit
Brazilian education group Ânima reported R$88.7 million in profit for the third quarter of 2026, a 142.7% increase from a year earlier.
The company also recorded higher revenue, adjusted EBITDA and operating cash generation during the quarter.
Ânima attributed the gains to a strategy pursued over the past two years, including efforts to attract students, raise average fees and keep students enrolled.
Its average monthly fee in AnimaCore, which covers undergraduate courses except medicine, rose 14.8% to R$1,033.
Revenue from digital teaching fell 14.2% after new education rules barred fully remote courses in some fields, though the company said it had prepared for the change.
Ânima also has a strategic agreement with Einstein for its medical education business, Inspirale.
Its planned FMU acquisition is still awaiting approval and would add more than 50,000 students; the company expects an update late in 2026 or early in 2027.
Ânima reported net profit of R$88.7 million in the third quarter of 2026, up 142.7% from a year earlier.

What people are saying
It is the best third quarter Ânima has delivered in recent times.
This growth has a very simple, very clear formula: quality student revenue, increasing the attraction and the ticket of our student, and that student's continued enrollment.
We are fit, we are ready.
