37-year-old woman from Oberhausen dies in Bottrop crash

A 37-year-old woman from Oberhausen died in a crash in Bottrop early Tuesday.

Shortly after 4 a.m., police found her car wrecked near the junction of Alter Postweg and Dännenkamp.

Police suspect she lost control and hit a tree, but the exact circumstances are not known.

The woman was trapped and unconscious, and emergency crews used a winch and hydraulic equipment to remove her from the car.
