Lavrov arrives in Minsk for Eurasian security conference

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Minsk to attend the fourth International Conference on Eurasian Security.

The conference runs November 3-4 and is expected to bring together more than 600 delegates from 50 countries.

Lavrov is expected to discuss a proposed Eurasian security framework and a draft charter on diversity and multipolarity, as well as assess the region's military and political situation.

Other topics include regional and global security, arms control, information security and artificial intelligence.

OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu will attend for the first time, alongside officials and representatives of regional organizations.

Negotiations on drafting the charter began in September, and decisions are to be made by consensus.
