BTS song “SWIM” passes 1 billion Spotify streams

BTS’ song “SWIM” has passed 1 billion streams on Spotify, the music streaming platform.

The track is the title song from the South Korean group’s fifth studio album, “ARIRANG.”

It is BTS’ seventh song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify, following songs including “Dynamite” and “Butter.”

The group’s agency said it is the first song released worldwide this year to reach the mark.

It is also BTS’ fastest song to hit the milestone, according to the agency.

The news comes as BTS’ labelmates ZEROBASEONE unit EMP prepare to release “RUN” next month, a song made with hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo.
