Spain’s Infanta Sofía is studying in Paris as she begins her second year at university.
The 19-year-old is taking political science and international relations at Forward College, a college with campuses in several European cities.
She studied her first year in Lisbon and has now moved to the college’s Paris campus.
She has been seen spending time with classmates and doing everyday errands, including shopping at a supermarket.
Her move follows earlier studies in Wales and gives her the chance to study outside Spain while remaining close enough to take part in royal duties.
Student protests have spread across France over teacher shortages, crowded classrooms and deteriorating school conditions.
The protests have led to campus blockades and cancelled classes in some places, but there was no known disruption to Forward College at the time of the reports.
