ME3Tweaks releases remastered Mass Effect 3 multiplayer mod for PC

The ME3Tweaks group has released a remastered co-op mod for Mass Effect 3 in the PC version of Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

The mode was left out when the remastered trilogy launched in 2021, and the group’s project has been in development since 2023.

The mod updates the interface, lighting, textures and shaders, and adds HDR and controller support.

It also includes new wave modes that mix enemy factions, giving players a different challenge from the original game.

Players can use ME3Tweaks’ servers for matchmaking or set up private games.

The release follows the closure of BioWare, which has left the future of the Mass Effect series uncertain.

The modders say they feel a greater responsibility to carry the Mass Effect legacy forward as the official future of the series is in question.
