Warburg Pincus raises Ingenia takeover proposal to up to $5.50 per security

Warburg Pincus has made an improved takeover proposal for Ingenia Communities, an Australian company listed on the ASX.

The revised, non-binding offer is $5.45 per stapled security, with a possible extra $0.05 from a permitted distribution.

That is 10 cents more than AVID Property Group's earlier $5.40 offer.

Ingenia's board has started a process allowing AVID to match or improve its proposal under an existing exclusivity agreement.

AVID has until 1 November 2026 to respond, while Ingenia also conducts further due diligence with Warburg Pincus and its co-investors.

Neither proposal is guaranteed to proceed to a binding agreement, and Ingenia has not recommended or accepted either offer; securityholders do not need to act for now.
