Marineland beluga Caspian dies at Chicago aquarium

Caspian was one of the belugas moved from the closed Marineland to aquariums in the United States and Spain.

Shedd Aquarium said she had trouble eating and abnormal blood results, but these did not show what caused her death.

Five other animals from Marineland have also died since the move.

The deaths have raised concern about the animals’ health, while the cause of Caspian’s death remains unknown.
