McLaren to race fan-designed livery at Mexico City Grand Prix

McLaren will race a one-off fan-designed livery at this weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix.

The car will feature stickers and artwork submitted by supporters, bringing their ideas into a single design.

The project is part of Velo’s “Live Your Fandom” campaign, developed with the team’s sponsor.

McLaren says the design puts its fans, known as the Papaya Family, at the heart of the team’s identity.

The livery will make its track debut at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

McLaren is fourth in the Constructors’ standings, tied on 355 points with third-placed Red Bull.
