Mikhail Mishustin appoints Dmitry Bombyr as deputy head of Russia’s antitrust service

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin appointed Dmitry Bombyr deputy head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Russia’s competition regulator.

Bombyr has worked at the agency since 2019, first in its legal department and later in the department that oversees public procurement.

He led that procurement oversight department from June 2025.

In his new role, he will oversee the agency’s financial control department and its department for social services, trade and non-production services.

The appointment puts two areas of agency oversight under Bombyr.

The appointment was set out in a government order published on Russia’s official legal information portal.
