12 companies, including Jio and Zetwerk, plan October IPOs in India

Twelve companies are expected to launch initial public offerings, or IPOs, in India during October.

They include Jio Platforms, the telecom and digital services arm of Reliance Industries, and manufacturing platform Zetwerk.

The companies span sectors such as technology, healthcare, renewable energy, defence and manufacturing.

An IPO is a company's first sale of shares to the public; some of these offerings will also let existing shareholders sell their shares.

Companies can use money from new shares for needs such as expansion, equipment, debt repayment and working capital.

Businesses have raised more than ₹1.1 trillion through 96 IPOs in India so far in 2026, including 35 launched in September.

Jio's IPO is scheduled for October 21 to 23, while several other offerings are set to open from October 13 onward.
