Okada to Defend AEW International Title Against Adam Copeland at Full Gear
AEW has booked Kazuchika Okada to defend the International title against Adam Copeland at Full Gear.
The match was announced on Saturday’s Collision, AEW’s weekly wrestling show.
The two have been at odds for several weeks, including after Okada interfered in a tag-team match and cost Copeland and Will Ospreay their match on Dynamite.
They also competed in a Blood & Guts match, where Copeland surrendered for his team after Kyle Fletcher threatened Ospreay with a screwdriver.
The title bout adds another championship match to Full Gear’s event lineup.
The event is scheduled for next Saturday in Phoenix, where Okada will put the title on the line against Copeland.
