Sunderland wants talks with Dutch coaches about Brian Brobbey
Sunderland wants to discuss Brobbey’s workload with Dutch national-team coaches before the next international period.
The club is concerned about the striker’s fitness after he returned from a hamstring injury that he picked up playing for the Netherlands against Germany in late September.

What people are saying
We want to manage the players’ workloads wisely. If he is not fit enough to play here, then he cannot play for the Netherlands either.
But we cannot keep a player here by arguing that he is better off with us. Players are required to report for international duty.
I would rather have a Brian who can give 65 minutes at one hundred per cent than 90 minutes at 80 per cent.
