RevolutionRace to open its first German store in Oberhausen

Swedish outdoor brand RevolutionRace will open its first German store on October 31 at the Westfield Centro shopping mall in Oberhausen.

Germany is the company’s most important market, and it says North Rhine-Westphalia is one of its strongest regions.

The brand has so far sold mainly online in Germany, so the new shop will let customers try on clothes, check sizes and get advice in person.

Founded in 2014 by Swedish couple Niclas and Pernilla Nyrensten, the company grew from a small home-based start-up into an international business.

Its Nordwand hiking trousers have sold more than one million pairs and helped make the brand popular with hikers and trekking fans.

The Oberhausen opening brings RevolutionRace into German retail, with special offers, giveaways and other activities planned for visitors.
