Savola’s recurring profit rises 26% in first nine months of 2026
Saudi food and retail company Savola’s recurring profit rose 26% to SR500 million in the first nine months of 2026.
The increase was supported by higher food processing volumes and cost controls, while group revenue grew 3.1% to SR20.1 billion.
Profit attributable to shareholders fell 22.2% to SR530 million, partly because the same period a year earlier included non-recurring gains.
In the third quarter, recurring profit was broadly unchanged at SR127 million, even as reported shareholder profit dropped sharply against a year-earlier quarter that also included one-off gains.
Food processing earnings climbed 66% to SR454 million, while the retail business Panda faced competitive pricing and higher expansion costs.
Panda’s online sales grew about 2.5 times year on year, and its recurring net income fell to SR28 million.
Savola approved a SR210 million interim dividend for the first half of 2026, equal to SR0.70 per share; the company also said regional disruptions had raised supply-chain challenges and insurance costs.
