OJK Says Banking Cases Made Up 152 of 191 Resolved Financial Cases

Indonesia’s financial regulator, OJK, said it had resolved 191 cases in the financial services sector by October 30, 2026.

Banking accounted for 152 cases, about 80% of the total; the rest involved insurance and pensions, capital markets, and other financial firms.

Courts had issued decisions in 169 cases, and 163 had reached a final legal ruling.

Meanwhile, 55 cases were still being handled, including 14 in the capital market sector, which had seen nine cases resolved.

On October 30, OJK handed two directors of PT BPR DCN and evidence to prosecutors in Batu.

The case has moved to prosecutors, while four other cases were awaiting appeal decisions and two were at the cassation stage.
