South Korean startup event connects young firms with buyers and experts

A South Korean agency held a sales and networking event for young companies in its Seoul-region startup schools.

The event took place at the main Youth Startup Academy in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, with about 100 participants.

Consumer-goods startups sold products directly and collected feedback from buyers at the event.

Retail product planners assessed the products’ market potential, branding, packaging and sales performance, then suggested improvements.

Lacom had the highest coupon sales, while Pet Vital Lab was selected as the planners’ pick.

The event also offered information on business support and brought companies together to discuss sharing experience and working together.

The agency plans to expand opportunities to help the firms reach customers and turn collaboration into business results.
