Jimmy Fallon and Jamie Lee Curtis spoof documentary in Tonight Show cold open

On The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon and Jamie Lee Curtis staged a parody of the documentary You Can See Everything.

Fallon imitated director Nathan Fielder, while Curtis played Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes.

Their awkward exchange copied the film’s questioning style, with Fallon asking whether Curtis was really there to promote her new show, Newlyweds.

Curtis answered in a Holmes-like voice, then dropped the act after Fallon walked away.

The documentary has earned more than $45 million domestically, though one source gives a higher figure and another reports its worldwide total.

Directed by Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, the film follows Holmes and her partner in the period before she began serving an 11-year prison sentence for defrauding investors.

The film’s box-office success has made it a major documentary hit, and Curtis’s Newlyweds premiered on NBC on October 23.
