India look to sharpen bowling after sealing T20I series against New Zealand

India have won the first three T20Is against New Zealand, sealing the series before the fourth match.

In Wellington, India won by six wickets, with Abhishek Sharma scoring 113 from 38 balls in the chase.

But New Zealand had reached 146 for three after 15 overs, and India’s bowlers had to curb a late surge to keep the target in check.

Prince Yadav conceded nine runs in the final over, using full, wide deliveries to limit the scoring.

India’s bowlers need to vary their pace, length and angle, and adjust to conditions, rather than relying only on a strong finish.

The fourth match is in Auckland on Friday, where India will face different boundary dimensions; the team can test its bowling options with the series already decided.

Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy could get game time, while India may also rest key players.
