Apple expands US supplier partnerships for iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro
Apple is adding US supplier deals for parts used in the iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro.
The company will work with Pennsylvania-based Perryman Company on the Duo’s titanium casing, committing up to $100 million over three years.
Perryman will use at least 80% recycled content in the titanium it makes for the phone.
Delaware-based Qnity will make camera films for the iPhone 18 Pro’s variable aperture system, which adjusts incoming light to suit conditions.
Apple also outlined work by existing suppliers, including a Kentucky plant that is expected to make all glass for iPhones and Apple Watches sold worldwide by the end of this year.
TSMC’s Arizona factory is expected to make over 100 million Apple chips in 2026, while construction continues on a new chip packaging and testing facility in Arizona.
