Jharkhand Cricket Association Complains to BCCI Over One-Run Loss

The Jharkhand Cricket Association has complained to the BCCI about its team’s one-run loss to Uttarakhand in a Women’s U19 T20 Trophy match.

The game was played on October 20 in Nagpur, and Jharkhand’s defeat knocked it out of the tournament.

Jharkhand alleges that after batter Lakshmi Kumari was run out while attempting a second run, the official scorer recorded the dismissal but not the first run.

The association says the ground scoreboard showed that run, and players continued on the belief that the match situation reflected it.

Jharkhand says the match should have ended in a tie, while the official result was a one-run win for Uttarakhand.

The complaint asks the BCCI to address the alleged scoring error, but no response or next step from the board is stated.
