Julian F. M. Stoeckel and Marcell Damaschke left out of Sommerhaus reunion
Julian F. M. Stoeckel and Marcell Damaschke say they were left out of the reunion for the German reality show Das Sommerhaus der Stars.
They joined the season as replacement contestants but were eliminated after two episodes.
Stoeckel says the production company contacted his manager and gave no reason for excluding them.
He believes the show favors arguments over lighter entertainment, though that is his explanation, not a confirmed reason.
RTL says reunion guests are chosen for editorial reasons and not every couple from the season attends.
The disagreement has drawn attention to how the show balances conflict with other kinds of entertainment.
The reunion is scheduled for November 3 and will be available only on RTL+ this season.

What people are saying
