Report says Stefanovic's former partner received about $25,000 for podcast stake
Karl Stefanovic has agreed to take over his former business partner's stake in the company behind The Karl Stefanovic Show, an Australian podcast.
A newspaper reports Keshnee Kemp Ibrahim received about $25,000 for her interest in the show's intellectual property, separate from her reported 45 per cent share of the company's cash.
The company reportedly held about $350,000 when the pair split, which would mean about $157,500 for each of them if the reported shares are correct.
Earlier speculation suggested a seven-figure settlement, but neither person has publicly confirmed the financial terms.
The podcast business reportedly struggled to earn more than it spent, despite attracting a substantial online audience.
The company was also reportedly owed about $60,000 in unpaid advertising invoices, while Ibrahim is said to have invested $120,000 and incurred six-figure legal bills.
The agreement ends their legal dispute and gives Stefanovic control of the company, while Ibrahim leaves as a shareholder and director; the settlement terms remain confidential.
