WPL 2027 schedule sets matches in Vadodara and Mumbai

The BCCI has announced the schedule for the fifth Women's Premier League season, which runs from January 14 to February 7, 2027.

The five-team tournament will be played in Vadodara and Mumbai, with each city hosting 11 matches.

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru will open against two-time winners Mumbai Indians in Vadodara.

The first 11 matches run there through January 24, before play moves to Mumbai on January 26.

The league stage ends on February 3, and the top team goes straight to the final while the second- and third-placed teams meet in the Eliminator.

The playoffs and final will take place at Mumbai's Brabourne Stadium, with the final set for February 7.

The venue arrangement differs from the previous season, when matches were held in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara; DY Patil Stadium is undergoing renovation.
