Salon 94 to Open Permanent Paris Gallery Space on October 18
New York gallery Salon 94 is opening a permanent space in Paris on October 18.
The 323-square-foot gallery is at 30 Galerie de Montpensier, facing the Jardin du Palais Royal.
Its first exhibition is a solo show by Deborah Roberts, running through November 28.
Salon 94 has tested the Paris market over the past three years with exhibitions in temporary spaces near the Palais Royal.
The gallery says those exhibitions showed there was interest from Paris visitors and buyers, and it sees the city as a good fit for showing both art and design.
The new space will let the gallery and artists respond more quickly than at its larger New York location.
