Woman injured after being hit by Granada Metro train

A woman was injured by a Granada Metro train on Tuesday evening.

The collision happened on Avenida Juan Pablo II in the north of Granada, near the stop before the bus station.

Emergency services received the alert at about 20:05 and sent police and medical teams to the scene.

The woman was treated at the scene, but her official condition had not been announced.

Metro service was temporarily halted while crews assisted her.

Local police were working to establish exactly how the collision happened.
