Migros launches platform and rewards for local producers
Migros has launched a digital platform for local producers in Turkey to apply to become suppliers and connect their products with shoppers.
Applications cover six categories, including fruit and vegetables, dairy, livestock, fish, dry goods and women’s cooperatives.
Migros reviews applications and may visit producers to assess their products and production conditions before they join its supplier network.
Platform members can access training and government-approved certificate programs through Migros Aile Kulübü.
Farmers registered in Turkey’s Farmer Registration System can join Çiftçi Money and receive cashback on purchases in the Migros ecosystem.
Standard members get 3% cashback, while women and farmers under 40 get 5%.
The program also offers benefits on fuel, equipment and other services.
Eligible suppliers can receive payment 10 days early without interest, under a deal with Akbank and subject to set conditions.
