Matic launches Serene robot vacuum with quieter full-power cleaning

Matic has launched the Serene, a robot vacuum designed for people who are sensitive to noise.

It runs at 52 decibels at maximum suction, which the company compares to the hum of a refrigerator.

Many robot vacuums get louder at full power, while quieter modes reduce suction, so users often have to choose between cleaning strength and less noise.

The Serene is three decibels quieter than Matic’s original vacuum and otherwise has the same design and camera-based navigation.

It costs $1,695, which is $200 more than the original Matic’s current price.

Existing Matic owners can request an upgrade in early 2027 by paying the difference between their original purchase price and $1,695.

For someone who avoids robot vacuums because of the noise, the quieter full-power cleaning may make the Serene appealing.
