Seven OPEC+ countries keep December oil quotas unchanged

Seven OPEC+ countries kept December oil quotas unchanged at levels set for September 2026.

The decision involves Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman, which met online on November 1.

The quotas together amount to about 31 million barrels a day, according to one report.

These countries had made voluntary production cuts and completed reversing them in September, though official quotas do not always match the amount actually produced.

The group says keeping quotas steady is intended to support stability in global oil markets.

The seven countries renewed their commitment to meet the group’s production agreement.

They will review market conditions at their next meeting on November 29.
