1,550 Indonesian Cooperative Manager Candidates Seek a Second Job Offer

1,550 candidates asked to receive job offers again for jobs managing Merah Putih village and urban-ward cooperatives in Indonesia.

They had missed the contract-signing deadline or declined an offer, and later requested another chance.

The government says 28,624 candidates passed selection, while 26,911 signed offers and 159 withdrew.

Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, the state company handling the offers, reopened the process for placements at three available cooperative sites, but it closed on Thursday night.

Final placement results are still pending from Agrinas.

Managers who have accepted offers are assigned to cooperative sites, while some candidates are helping prepare operations as construction is completed; the government says 17,280 sites are fully built and undergoing checks.

The staffing process matters as 8,000 cooperatives are scheduled to begin operating this week.

Agrinas made offers for three locations that are already available, and frankly, the process only closed last night. So I have not yet received an update from Agrinas.
