Mein Haus Digital draws three offers on Die Höhle der Löwen

Founders Leonie Dowling and Carolin Krebber pitched Mein Haus Digital on the German TV show Die Höhle der Löwen.

The company offers software to plan home renovations, estimating a property's condition, necessary work and costs.

It also helps users seek financing, obtain permits and prepare plans for tradespeople.

The founders say the tool can make renovation planning faster and cheaper than hiring an architect, at a time when some buyers of older homes cannot afford one.

Their request for €425,000 for 5% of the company initially surprised the investors, but the pitch attracted three offers.

Carsten Maschmeyer and Janna Ensthaler are named as investors in the deal, while the other offer details are not given.

The founders must choose an investor who fits the platform and their plans to expand into other countries.
