Man jailed for life after killing former partner days after early release
Robert Sabat, 60, was jailed for life at the Old Bailey after killing former partner Dickiesha Nurse in her home.
The court heard he stabbed her within days of being released from prison.
He had served about 40% of a one-year sentence for harassment and knife offences.
Before that sentence, he had threatened another former partner at her home while carrying knives.
That woman says the early release failed to take his history of violence seriously and put women at risk.
Sabat must serve at least 17 years before he can be considered for release.
The Probation Service is conducting an internal review of the case.
